A Creative Calling
We are all creative beings!
Throughout my life, I have been an image-maker and an image-taker, where creativity is my mode of expression. As both an artist and ecopsychologist, I have discovered that the body works in images and does not think in words.
I am committed to help guide and reconnect humanity to our creative roots by activating the imagination, while bringing feelings to the surface, for myself and others.
I hold a Doctorate of Arts in Ecopsychology and Environmental Humanities from Viridis Graduate Institute, a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara and a B.F.A. in Art History and Photography from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
In the Spring of 2019, I delivered a presentation, entitled "Creatures of Love: Art and Imagination as an Ecopsychological Inquiry", at the Art and Psyche: Illuminated Imagination Conference IV at University of California, Santa Barbara. Ojai, California has been my home for 20 years.
